The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xande Solitario's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Wictor Mejling skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 18 minutes into the game, Örkelhöjden's Thomás Nickerson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sture Abrahamsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás Nickerson in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Högman in the 22nd minute of play forced Örkelhöjden's goalkeeper Wictor Mejling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Damian Sikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Nickerson in the 27th minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Sture Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Örkelhöjden's Wictor Mejling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Örkelhöjden from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Dušan Vlahović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Nickerson in the 48th minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Sture Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the match, Thomás Nickerson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sture Abrahamsson. Nytäppet Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomás Nickerson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Nickerson in the 54th minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Sture Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xande Solitario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Mejling having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Örkelhöjden fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Nytäppet Fc a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Radomir Gerlach, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Örkelhöjden's Wictor Mejling. 2-2. Damian Sikola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Sture Abrahamsson made a huge save. The supporters of Örkelhöjden booed when Nytäppet Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Gerlach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nytäppet Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Jan-Erik Kilberg scored to the left of an out of position Sture Abrahamsson, making the score, 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Örkelhöjden's Thomás Nickerson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sture Abrahamsson. That made the score 2-4 after 72 minutes of play. 76 minutes into the match, Örkelhöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Vlahović came free, but Wictor Mejling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sture Abrahamsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomás Nickerson's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The corner led to Örkelhöjden's Karl Hammarbäck getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Dušan Vlahović took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wictor Mejling. Wictor Mejling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. In the 90th minute, Damian Sikola reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sture Abrahamsson. The goal made the score 3-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Högman in the 98th minute of play forced Örkelhöjden's goalkeeper Wictor Mejling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Örkelhöjden players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
