The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joachim Olivier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ákos Kecskés, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Utz Stockert scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcell Pál, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Joachim Olivier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Utz Stockert in the 12th minute of play forced PMFC 2018's goalkeeper Marcell Pál to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kálmán Kun kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Benjamin Oppenheim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcell Pál. PMFC 2018's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Oppenheim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Marcell Pál stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Utz Stockert's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 27th minute Utz Stockert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcell Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Ferenc Molnár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Kálmán Kun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PMFC 2018's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Ostermoordorf the free kick. In the 30th match minute, PMFC 2018 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kálmán Kun to maneuver through the defense. Joachim Olivier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ákos Kecskés in the 33rd minute of play. Marcell Pál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigo Moschel in the 34th minute of play. Benjamin Oppenheim kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Borussia Ostermoordorf made a substitution. Achim Schuchter replaced Utz Stockert. After a rather tough play, PMFC 2018's Kálmán Kun got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ákos Kecskés to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ákos Kecskés got free with Joachim Olivier in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute Rigo Moschel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcell Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Achim Schuchter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcell Pál was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Marcell Pál showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Beilmann in the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to PMFC 2018 getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. János Kuti hit a great ball. PMFC 2018's Marcell Pál played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Beilmann in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Kafka in the 67th minute of play forced PMFC 2018's goalkeeper Marcell Pál to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Artur Kafka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcell Pál was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Achim Schuchter struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Marcell Pál didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Ostermoordorf. Marcell Pál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achim Schuchter in the 75th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Achim Schuchter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcell Pál was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Raphael Beilmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcell Pál having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Rigo Moschel got a free kick in the 86th minute. Marcell Pál showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achim Schuchter, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute Achim Schuchter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcell Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Borussia Ostermoordorf were the better team. Borussia Ostermoordorf's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
