If Edgar Degas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Campana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 6th minute Leo Campana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Solarek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes, Leo Campana made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Warmia Grajewo's Aleksander Solarek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Beninda in the 24th minute of play forced Warmia Grajewo's goalkeeper Aleksander Solarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Campana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Warmia Grajewo's Aleksander Solarek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Campana in the 27th minute of play. KS LEW Chorzów's Herbert Oliszewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save KS LEW Chorzów from getting a goal against them. If Leo Campana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Warmia Grajewo's zone, Edgar Degas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Campana in the 44th minute of play forced Warmia Grajewo's goalkeeper Aleksander Solarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes of play, KS LEW Chorzów's Leo Campana made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleksander Solarek was left in no man's land by his defense there!
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Degas to make the kick off. Gilbert Glapiak kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Aleksander Solarek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Degas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. KS LEW Chorzów's Herbert Oliszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Witkowski in the 59th minute of play. After 59 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Marian Beninda. Leo Campana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Aleksander Solarek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leo Campana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Aleksander Solarek made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Degas in the 72nd minute of play forced Warmia Grajewo's goalkeeper Aleksander Solarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 minutes, Leo Campana made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Campana got free with Aleksander Solarek in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Degas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Warmia Grajewo's Wit Trzaskoma in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS LEW Chorzów's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle sounded KS LEW Chorzów left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Warmia Grajewo.
