Dariusz Misiewicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led KS LEW Chorzów's Dariusz Misiewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Magno Leme despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th minute, Leo Campana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisão Queiroz got free with Herbert Oliszewski in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leo Campana might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magno Leme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Campana ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Herbert Oliszewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisão Queiroz. Herbert Oliszewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Abreu's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Degas in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magno Leme saved Real Santista FC from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Edgar Degas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS LEW Chorzów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Santista FC the free kick. After 39 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Degas. Magno Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Campana in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Leo Campana managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS LEW Chorzów's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Campana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magno Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas da Rocha during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Degas made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's Leo Campana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Magno Leme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Santista FC's goalkeeper Magno Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee gave Lucas da Rocha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Lucas da Rocha hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KS LEW Chorzów walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
