The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Béla Bíró showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 5th minute of the match, Áron Salamon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aage Weiss saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 6th minute, Dömötör Domonkos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th match minute, Borussia Ostermoordorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Koppenhöfer to maneuver through the defense. Aage Weiss acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zsolt Fenyvessy. Birger Koppenhöfer struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Béla Bíró didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Ostermoordorf. In the 20th minute of the match, Áron Salamon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aage Weiss saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gergely Menyhért kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egon Vörös got free with Aage Weiss in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aage Weiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Áron Salamon in the 35th minute of play. Artur Kafka kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, PMFC 2018 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koppány Keresztesi to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, PMFC 2018's goal looked a bit too open when Rigo Moschel came free, but Béla Bíró reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egon Vörös to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Rigo Moschel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Ostermoordorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigo Moschel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Áron Salamon in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aage Weiss saved Borussia Ostermoordorf from getting behind. Ákos Kecskés received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Aage Weiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, PMFC 2018 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gergely Menyhért to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Áron Salamon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Áron Salamon's late challenge caught a Borussia Ostermoordorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Áron Salamon helped the player get up and apologised. Aage Weiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vencel Káposztás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The PMFC 2018 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Borussia Ostermoordorf were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
