Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qiao Wen in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdel Karim Hanister prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th minute of the match, Abe Atwood got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oktay Özdoğal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Burriss booed when PreservemospolladeaguaFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cai Redondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdel Karim Hanister took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bobbo Mira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loreto Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Karim Hanister having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Burriss was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mack Sansouci to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, PreservemospolladeaguaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jules Boggs came free, but Oktay Özdoğal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Oktay Özdoğal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jules Boggs in the 22nd minute of play. Abdel Karim Hanister made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiao Wen in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes PreservemospolladeaguaFC got a freekick which was hit by Firmo Pene. In the 36th minute Jules Boggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oktay Özdoğal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loreto Campos's late challenge caught a Burriss's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Loreto Campos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Loreto Campos got a free kick in the 41st minute. Oktay Özdoğal was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Abe Atwood capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abe Atwood really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Qiao Wen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jules Boggs in the 90th minute of play forced PreservemospolladeaguaFC's goalkeeper Oktay Özdoğal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oktay Özdoğal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merle Pendleton in the 93rd minute of play. Burriss were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
