Peter Björkman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 17th playminute. 20 minutes into the match, Tolek Sidorowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingvar Kilstedt. FC Blueskatterna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tolek Sidorowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. FC Blueskatterna's Ingvar Kilstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolek Sidorowicz in the 25th minute of play. Ingvar Kilstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolek Sidorowicz went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute Norbert Zjawin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Kilstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Kilstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Pedersson struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Alfred Borowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Blueskatterna. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Björkman made a kick off. Alfred Borowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Björkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes, Norbert Zjawin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dreamland and the FC Blueskatterna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Norbert Zjawin hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ingvar Kilstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomasz Wierzcholek in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Blueskatterna's Peter Björkman got a free kick in the 65th minute. The FC Blueskatterna fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when FC Blueskatterna's Peter Björkman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Tomasz Wierzcholek went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Dreamland's Wincent Dziatkowicz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ingvar Kilstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomasz Wierzcholek in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Jerzy Tylenda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Kilstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Kilstedt made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Tomasz Wierzcholek sent off a good shot on target. If Wincent Dziatkowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Blueskatterna had won after a very even match.
