Remigiusz Rawa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alfred Borowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kajetan Dzierwa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Sidorowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Miromir Piszczor made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Tolek Sidorowicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kajetan Dzierwa, 1-2. Tolek Sidorowicz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 87th minute, Bartlomiej Kendra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
