Robustiano Bautista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Olof Alström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Börje Möllgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.D. Pepino’s's Gustavo Albages couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mellansels stationsgäng. Sebastian Bolin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tanio Chavez having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Robustiano Bautista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st match minute, Mellansels stationsgäng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Telin to maneuver through the defense. When Nils Pihlblad fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
