Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olari Ainsoo started the match with the kick off. Florin Pruneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olari Ainsoo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the game, Leontin Comăneci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fanaticii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rymu the free kick. After 6 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Comăneci. The supporters of Rymu booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Apostu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Olari Ainsoo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rymu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olari Ainsoo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florin Pruneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olari Ainsoo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Gică Curcă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kalle Härmi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Kalle Härmi was a little too slow when Gică Curcă got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Gică Curcă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Kalle Härmi made a huge save. Mihai Măliță who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Kalle Härmi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Mihai Măliță lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Kalle Härmi. Mugurel Cezar hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Olari Ainsoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Pruneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Rymu's Olari Ainsoo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florin Pruneda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Mugurel Cezar fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Fanaticii's protests and gave Mugurel Cezar a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Mugurel Cezar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

FC Fanaticii made a substitution. Remus Ostoici replaced Francisc Ciocâlteu. Mugurel Cezar hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When FC Fanaticii's Mihai Măliță in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rymu's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute, FC Fanaticii's Mugurel Cezar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mugurel Cezar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Fanaticii protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mugurel Cezar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. It was beautiful to see Rymu's Vaino Jomm in action when he in the 65th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Florin Pruneda was a little too slow when Olari Ainsoo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-2. Kalle Härmi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Măliță in the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, FC Fanaticii's Mihai Măliță nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kalle Härmi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 83 minutes into the match, Rymu's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Măliță came free, but Kalle Härmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Pruneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerd Maasik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Poplăcean to maneuver through the defense. FC Fanaticii's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
