Tanio Chavez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tanio Chavez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Koukoulas in the 8th minute of the match. Stelios Panagiotidis shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Tanio Chavez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelios Panagiotidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spyros Psychountakis hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A collision led to C.D. Pepino’s getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Domenico Reyes hit a great ball. After 25 minutes, Xamín Llamllam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.D. Pepino’s and the Go Ahead Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.D. Pepino’s's Xamín Llamllam got a free kick in the 25th minute. Stelios Panagiotidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lázaro Sobarzo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Lakis Patsoureas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tanio Chavez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aris Kolitsis went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Tanio Chavez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Koukoulas in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Stelios Panagiotidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The C.D. Pepino’s players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Go Ahead Eagles were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Gustavo Albages made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Stelios Panagiotidis took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Tanio Chavez to make any attempt to save it. Tanio Chavez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Koukoulas in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Aris Kolitsis had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Ángel Bustos fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D. Pepino’s's protests and gave Ángel Bustos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Ángel Bustos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Go Ahead Eagles's Stelios Panagiotidis in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.D. Pepino’s's goalie prevented a goal. In the 67th match minute, C.D. Pepino’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Albages to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Tanio Chavez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Soulis Xanthakos. C.D. Pepino’s's Tanio Chavez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Koukoulas in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Stelios Panagiotidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Go Ahead Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. C.D. Pepino’s's Tanio Chavez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Koukoulas in the 80th minute of play. Go Ahead Eagles were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after C.D. Pepino’s's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stelios Panagiotidis took the corner. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Lakis Patsoureas hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Lakis Patsoureas fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Tanio Chavez. Spyros Psychountakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Tanio Chavez made a huge save. After having played for 95 minutes, Dimitris Koukoulas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Go Ahead Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitris Koukoulas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Go Ahead Eagles's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
