Sebastian Bolin started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Bolin came free, but Karl Rönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mellansels stationsgäng getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Östen Lundin hit a great ball. Jan-Olof Alström was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Elliott Bengtsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elliott Bengtsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Sebastian Bolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Rönn having to interfere. Sven-Oskar Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bror Håning kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Håning in the 21st minute of play forced Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Karl Rönn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Bror Håning left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mellansels stationsgäng fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Bolin in the 28th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Karl Rönn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Rönn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Håning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's goal looked a bit too open when Bror Håning came free, but Karl Rönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Bolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Rönn having to interfere. In the 44th minute Sven-Oskar Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Olof Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Oskar Bergman made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Måns Lundqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Olof Alström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 57 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Karl Rönn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Bolin. Börje Möllgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Hudiksvalls United's Sven-Oskar Bergman got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hudiksvalls United's zone, Bror Håning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Rönn came out of the goal and Bror Håning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Mellansels stationsgäng's Östen Lundin got a free kick in the 77th minute. Bror Håning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Rönn having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Bror Håning recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl Rönn. Bror Håning showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
