An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Gmoch in the 3rd minute of play forced Cesate's goalkeeper Manolis Peridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Janusz Gmoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolis Peridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Jaroslaw Harasimowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redbull Power's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cesate the free kick. Martin Gajdošík showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kay Stormlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Angelo Ferraris hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The supporters of Redbull Power booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Frezza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Cesate's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Kaczynski came free, but Manolis Peridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes Cesate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andrzej Kaczynski who took care of the corner kick. Manolis Peridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Kaczynski in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Gustaw Nienajadlo made a precise shot to the right of Martin Gajdošík. Redbull Power's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Manolis Peridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Kaczynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Janusz Gmoch to strike the kick off in the second half. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
