The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofil Pustak got free with Helmuth Duckadam in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Jerzy Wydrych ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Helmuth Duckadam was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The wind increased when Thomas Kourmoulis made the kick off in the second half. Helmuth Duckadam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christos Kanakis's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Thomas Kourmoulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Christos Kanakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Helmuth Duckadam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Markos Kokotoulis hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI's Teodoro Gamus broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee ended the match the DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
