Elias Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephen Falkingham, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Rod Bittner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Christian Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Falkingham in the 10th minute of the match. Andrézinho Bertassi struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ron Blowman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JESUS TE AMA FC. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Latchingdon's goalkeeper Ron Blowman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Andrézinho Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ron Blowman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Cosme in the 22nd minute of play. Christian Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ron Blowman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raúl Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 minutes, Jay Louis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Latchingdon and the JESUS TE AMA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elias Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Stew Bettinson sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stephen Falkingham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of JESUS TE AMA FC booed when Latchingdon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pat Hanley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldão Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ron Blowman having to interfere. JESUS TE AMA FC's Elias Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephen Falkingham in the 58th minute of play. Ron Blowman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Pinheiro in the 60th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Mattos got free with Ron Blowman in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronaldão Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ron Blowman having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Falkingham in the 75th minute of play forced JESUS TE AMA FC's goalkeeper Elias Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Andrézinho Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Blowman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Falkingham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Latchingdon's goalkeeper Ron Blowman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrézinho Bertassi. 90 minutes into the match, JESUS TE AMA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Creighton came free, but Elias Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Latchingdon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rueben Eyre to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrézinho Bertassi in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ron Blowman prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
