After having played for 22 minutes, Hugo Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thorin SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Pat Hanley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Latchingdon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 28 minutes into the game, Rod Bittner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Carlos Miguel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos Miguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Falkingham in the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Hugo Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thorin SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Stephen Falkingham made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Thorin SC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jonathan Lira hit a great ball. Stew Bettinson came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Miguel could save by the left post. Hugo Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ron Blowman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Pat Hanley kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Miguel. That made the score 0-3 in the 68 minute of play. After some careless play in the Thorin SC defense, Pat Hanley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Miguel. The Thorin SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Miguel should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Latchingdon's zone, Hugo Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ron Blowman came out of the goal and Hugo Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Thorin SC's goal looked a bit too open when Stephen Falkingham came free, but Carlos Miguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Latchingdon getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Rod Bittner hit a great ball. Franklin Fantini charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Fantini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Thorin SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Jude Auckland shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Hugo Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Ron Blowman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
