Sharizan Tee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Kurtuluş Tellioğlu made a huge save. 6 minutes into the match, Brighton's goal looked a bit too open when Cahit Tüzmen came free, but Darryl Boon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Famih Pieng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cem Tümerkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kayseri FK booed when Brighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amir Chandran didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kayseri FK's Cem Tümerkan in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brighton's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th match minute, Brighton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amir Chandran to maneuver through the defense. Darryl Boon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 23 minutes, Cahit Tüzmen made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Brighton's Darryl Boon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the game, Kayseri FK's Mustafa Birol Türel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darryl Boon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cem Tümerkan in the 31st minute of play forced Brighton's goalkeeper Darryl Boon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Brighton booed when Kayseri FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songur Kutsan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Brighton getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Famih Pieng hit a great ball. Kurtuluş Tellioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Hartl in the 40th minute of the match. Sharizan Tee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Özgür Uludağ took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Darryl Boon to make any attempt to save it. Darryl Boon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. With an all-out effort, Kayseri FK's Darryl Boon threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cahit Tüzmen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 61 minutes, Daniz Lee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brighton and the Kayseri FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Brighton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniz Lee to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Cahit Tüzmen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Darryl Boon. Cahit Tüzmen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The supporters of Brighton booed when Kayseri FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahri Kutsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sharizan Tee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurtuluş Tellioğlu having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kayseri FK's Cem Tümerkan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Darryl Boon. That made the score 0-8 after 69 minutes of play. Bahri Kutsoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darryl Boon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Özgür Uludağ kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Kurtuluş Tellioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sharizan Tee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Brighton's Darryl Boon got control of the ball when Cem Tümerkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sharizan Tee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Özgür Uludağ was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. The supporters of Brighton booed when Kayseri FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özgür Uludağ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sharizan Tee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurtuluş Tellioğlu having to interfere. Cem Tümerkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Famih Pieng fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brighton's protests and gave Famih Pieng a yellow card for diving instead. Cem Tümerkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kayseri FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
