The Soda Stereo FC Unplugged fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. JESUS TE AMA FC's Elias Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Lleir in the 25th minute of play. Ermegildo Iruinea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Ronaldão Cosme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JESUS TE AMA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Santiago Romano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Elias Cordeiro made a huge save. Christian Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Orlando Iratzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Soda Stereo FC Unplugged's Benito Oskitz got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Santiago Romano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Cordeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Delmiro Lleir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soda Stereo FC Unplugged's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmiro Lleir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Delmiro Lleir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Santiago Romano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soda Stereo FC Unplugged fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Romano was the one to do the kick off. Elias Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Romano in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Cordeiro saved JESUS TE AMA FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Andrézinho Bertassi took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Orlando Iratzeder to make any attempt to save it. JESUS TE AMA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrézinho Bertassi in the 67th minute. JESUS TE AMA FC's Andrézinho Bertassi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Orlando Iratzeder in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Andrézinho Bertassi hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Elias Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Lleir, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Orlando Iratzeder was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Andrézinho Bertassi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrézinho Bertassi really showed his touch with that goal: 5-4. A collision led to Soda Stereo FC Unplugged getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Evaristo Unai hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Soda Stereo FC Unplugged's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ronaldão Cosme fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 95th match minute, JESUS TE AMA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rômulo Vaz to maneuver through the defense. JESUS TE AMA FC's Elias Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Lleir in the 98th minute of play. In the 99th minute Soda Stereo FC Unplugged were awarded a corner. Delmiro Lleir went to the cornerflag to take it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
