Pretoria Gostyń's Tomás Clodio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sylwester Chazon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genaro Donzel went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the game, Miguel Eguntsenti threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pretoria Gostyń's Marcos Ekialde quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Melquiades Gar made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pretoria Gostyń's Wit Dytrych. Sylwester Chazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Guifre, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Gavino Guifre made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Clodio in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Esdras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Genaro Donzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Chazon having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Lionel-Andrés Messi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Teofilo Esdras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Cuervos Galácticos getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Miguel Eguntsenti hit a great ball. With a little luck, Pretoria Gostyń's Sylwester Chazon got control of the ball when Gavino Guifre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cuervos Galácticos were furious when Alejo Haritz was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 88th minute, one of Cuervos Galácticos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cuervos Galácticos. Cuervos Galácticos:s Teofilo Esdras showed great skill when he stopped Lionel-Andrés Messi:s penalty. After having played for 92 minutes, Lionel-Andrés Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pretoria Gostyń's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lionel-Andrés Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Lionel-Andrés Messi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Teofilo Esdras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teofilo Esdras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Clodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pretoria Gostyń getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Wit Dytrych hit a great ball. Gavino Guifre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Sylwester Chazon made a huge save. Pretoria Gostyń walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
