With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dragomir Marchovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Meruendano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Chuse in the 26th minute of play forced Union Y Progreso F.C.'s goalkeeper Dragomir Marchovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 28 in the game by Zeng Ting Xing from a close distance when the talented Cláudio Taffarel managed to make a qualified save. AKÇEŞMESPOR's players were relieved. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind AKÇEŞMESPOR's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Costante Segarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Cláudio Taffarel made a huge save. Dragomir Marchovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragomir Marchovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babür Kongurtay in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Union Y Progreso F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Friedrich Nietzsche came free, but Dragomir Marchovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Union Y Progreso F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AKÇEŞMESPOR's performance. The match ended with a win for AKÇEŞMESPOR.
