The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Leandro Ricoy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Björn Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Claude Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Strömbom came free, but Claude Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Bengt Alegren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kärnan BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Alegren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claude Bermudez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Red Devils booed when Kärnan BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Nordlander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Nagy shot from long distance in the 23rd minute, but Leandro Ricoy was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With an all-out effort, Red Devils's Leandro Ricoy threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Téo Lima, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Kärnan BK's Leandro Ricoy got control of the ball when Elek Elek tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Zsombor Karsai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Lima in the 32nd minute of play forced Kärnan BK's goalkeeper Leandro Ricoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Téo Lima in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Ricoy saved Kärnan BK from getting behind. Leandro Ricoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Károly Baranyai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Kärnan BK's Leandro Ricoy got control of the ball when Fabien Van Daelen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kärnan BK's Björn Lindqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Red Devils's Claude Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Lindqvist in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Téo Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Ricoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Björn Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Bermudez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Téo Lima.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Téo Lima was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Fabien Van Daelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Ricoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Red Devils's Károly Baranyai got a free kick in the 56th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leandro Ricoy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zsombor Karsai scored 1-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leandro Ricoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leandro Ricoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Károly Baranyai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes of play, Kärnan BK's Roger Strömbom made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claude Bermudez was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Red Devils's Claude Bermudez got control of the ball when Roger Strömbom tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Bror Nordlander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Téo Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leandro Ricoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsombor Karsai in the 90th minute of the match. Leandro Ricoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsombor Karsai in the 91st minute of play. Kärnan BK's Leandro Ricoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Lima in the 93rd minute of play. In the 97th minute, Roger Strömbom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kärnan BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kärnan BK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
