Teofilo Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Bâru in the 3rd minute of play. Joaquin Ranolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Cuervos Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Amorebieta came free, but Teofilo Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Go Ahead Eagles got a corner. Cuervos Galácticos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cássio Gonçalves ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Panos Kaklamanos heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Teofilo Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Gonçalves in the 9th minute of play. If Fernando Amorebieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Lucila kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Teofilo Esdras acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cássio Gonçalves. 19 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Donzel came free, but Scarafia Ghost reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Go Ahead Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vural Akyol to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Bâru in the 24th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Iustin Bâru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teofilo Esdras, 1-0. After having played for 34 minutes, Iustin Bâru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Go Ahead Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustin Bâru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Cuervos Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Bâru came free, but Teofilo Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Bâru in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Cuervos Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Nerio to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cuervos Galácticos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cássio Gonçalves was slow to take the kick. During this time Go Ahead Eagles's players had a chance to rest. 42 minutes into the match, Cuervos Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Bâru came free, but Teofilo Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Amorebieta in the 43rd minute of play. A hard shot 45 in the game by Fernando Amorebieta from a close distance when the talented Teofilo Esdras managed to make a qualified save. Cuervos Galácticos's players were relieved. 47 minutes into the game, Iustin Bâru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Teofilo Esdras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cuervos Galácticos's Miguel Eguntsenti was substituted for Alejo Haritz.
If Iustin Bâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Cuervos Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Amorebieta came free, but Teofilo Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cuervos Galácticos's Teofilo Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Bâru in the 60th minute of play. Panos Karagoutis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teofilo Esdras having to make a save. Cuervos Galácticos's Astor Paskal was substituted for Hugo Lucila. The referee gave Go Ahead Eagles a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dani Carbajal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cuervos Galácticos's Teofilo Esdras. 3-0. Go Ahead Eagles made a substitution. Erling Lewandowski replaced Iustin Bâru. Teofilo Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Amorebieta in the 73rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Eliseo Ariando in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Go Ahead Eagles's Dani Carbajal. In the 76th match minute, Cuervos Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Eguntsenti to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Gonçalves in the 77th minute of play forced Cuervos Galácticos's goalkeeper Teofilo Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Erling Lewandowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teofilo Esdras was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 85th match minute, Go Ahead Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vural Akyol to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Erling Lewandowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofilo Esdras. Cuervos Galácticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erling Lewandowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Teofilo Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervos Galácticos's zone, Erling Lewandowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Esdras came out of the goal and Erling Lewandowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teofilo Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Lewandowski in the 92nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cuervos Galácticos defense, Erling Lewandowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teofilo Esdras. The Cuervos Galácticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teofilo Esdras should have stopped the shot. Cuervos Galácticos's Teofilo Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Lewandowski in the 95th minute of play. Go Ahead Eagles's Cássio Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teofilo Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Lewandowski in the 99th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Go Ahead Eagles were the better team. Go Ahead Eagles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
