Lucrețiu Buligan made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Roger Strömbom sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the game, Kärnan BK's Eddie Godholm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucrețiu Buligan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Roger Strömbom in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucrețiu Buligan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lucrețiu Buligan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Godholm in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernst Ennegren got free with Lucrețiu Buligan in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in F.C SBG DTR's zone, Roger Strömbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Buligan came out of the goal and Roger Strömbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Lucrețiu Buligan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Björn Lindqvist hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Eddie Godholm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lucrețiu Buligan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Strömbom to make the kick off. Lucrețiu Buligan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Lindqvist in the 52nd minute of play. Lucrețiu Buligan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Nordlander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Dorin Rareș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kärnan BK's Leandro Ricoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Kärnan BK from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Eddie Godholm sped through F.C SBG DTR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucrețiu Buligan. Eddie Godholm took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucrețiu Buligan. Lucrețiu Buligan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Lucrețiu Buligan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Strömbom in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Marcel Mavrogheni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the F.C SBG DTR defense, Roger Strömbom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucrețiu Buligan. The F.C SBG DTR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucrețiu Buligan should have stopped the shot.
