Scarafia Ghost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zsombor Karsai, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Iustin Bâru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Devils's Claude Bermudez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 31 minutes Red Devils's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cássio Gonçalves who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Go Ahead Eagles's Iustin Bâru to a score. 3-0 in the 32nd minute. In the 39th minute, Roland Nagy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vural Akyol hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. A collision led to Red Devils getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Roland Nagy hit a great ball. Cássio Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claude Bermudez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iustin Bâru to make the kick off. Claude Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Amorebieta in the 51st minute of the match. Fernando Amorebieta scored 5-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claude Bermudez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Gonçalves in the 58th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Claude Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claude Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Amorebieta in the 62nd minute of play.
