Ovidiu Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ovidiu Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Lico in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Erubiel Bilintx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Bilintx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fidel Lorien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Emilian Bădila got a free kick in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Bilintx got free with Ovidiu Marin in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamin Arotza took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidiu Marin. Ovidiu Marin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Maximo Lico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ovidiu Marin made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Dacian Jurăscu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Lorien was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
