Léo Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Léo Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alijilán returns's Esteve Millano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Meira in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Zuera Never End MZC's Rui Coutinho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Esteve Millano. Esteve Millano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 14 minutes, Teofilo Semeno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alijilán returns and the Zuera Never End MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Alijilán returns getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. After a defensive mix-up in Alijilán returns's zone, Jailson de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Millano came out of the goal and Jailson de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edinho Dracena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Semeno in the 27th minute of play forced Zuera Never End MZC's goalkeeper Santo Everton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Everton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Seme in the 39th minute of play. Zuera Never End MZC's Santo Everton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Sagrario in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Jimeno Seme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Everton. Zuera Never End MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimeno Seme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 45th minute Jimeno Seme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Everton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesar Sagrario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esteve Millano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santo Everton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Semeno's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Alijilán returns's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Americo Cefero in the 56th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Teofilo Semeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alijilán returns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Semeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 minutes of play, Zuera Never End MZC's Jailson de Amaral made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Millano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Esteve Millano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimeno Seme's late challenge caught a Zuera Never End MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Seme helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Jimeno Seme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Alijilán returns defense, Jailson de Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteve Millano. The Alijilán returns fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Millano should have stopped the shot. Rui Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Esteve Millano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Arósio came free, but Esteve Millano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alijilán returns's Esteve Millano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Coutinho in the 95th minute of play. Zuera Never End MZC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
