It was a well-played corner which Tang Yang Le managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 9th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Saa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Corrêa in the 10th minute of play. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Dolar, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer de Carvalho in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Vânderson Saa got control of the ball when Per Tunström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rönnöfors FF's Torsten Åman was substituted for Arne Stor. 50 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Radul Kokalov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dale Dolar made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dale Dolar. Clóvis Vieira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Magne Gunnarsson made a huge save. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Dolar in the 83rd minute of the match. Morgan Björkdahl kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Dolar in the 86th minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Dale Dolar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tang Yang Le's late challenge caught a Rönnöfors FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tang Yang Le helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Tang Yang Le. 91 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Vânderson Saa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 97 minutes, Dale Dolar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dale Dolar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
