The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franky Dhondt in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Buturugã saved LOI from getting behind. Özgür Özbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sulo Montaña kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Falcioni. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bektaş Veli Ülgü during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, LOI's Bektaş Veli Ülgü got a free kick in the 16th minute. When 狄钢远 came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 狄钢远 couldn't finish the play. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Julio Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgür Özbay in the 20th minute of play. Sulo Montaña came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Falcioni could save by the left post. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Julio Falcioni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Cardo Ruso Cordobés from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Julio Falcioni got control of the ball when Sulo Montaña tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sulo Montaña to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of LOI booed when Cardo Ruso Cordobés was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. 狄钢远 didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Segio in the 55th minute of play forced Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goalkeeper Julio Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 60th minute of play. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Franky Dhondt got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cardo Ruso Cordobés made a substitution. Samuel Olenberg replaced Mateo Filipo. The throw-in from Mehmet Akif Cerme in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Søren Sørendorf. 75 minutes into the match, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Julio Falcioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Jorge Panpili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cardo Ruso Cordobés getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jorge Panpili hit a great ball. Julio Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, LOI's Sulo Montaña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Falcioni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. LOI's Kerimhan Cevher was substituted for Sulo Montaña. The throw-in from Søren Sørendorf in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by LOI's Mehmet Akif Cerme. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bennvar Back in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Buturugã saved LOI from getting behind. Bennvar Back had several of the LOI's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed George Buturugã as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
