After some careless play in the λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR defense, Gao Wei Fei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabiano Pombal. The λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabiano Pombal should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Gao Wei Fei notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Fabiano Pombal. Fabiano Pombal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodolfo Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Goral Zywiec's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Gerber came free, but Michael Krawczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR got a freekick which was hit by 毛俊亦. In the 35th minute Rodolfo Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Krawczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Bresal McPhil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Michael Krawczyk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 41 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Gerber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Michael Krawczyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Thomas Stor in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Goral Zywiec's Stefan Lewicki. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Abelardo Koehler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Krawczyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bresal McPhil in the 63rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Goral Zywiec's goalie and right to Elias Félix. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Goral Zywiec's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fabiano Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Wei Fei in the 66th minute of play. Goral Zywiec's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfred Ewertowski in the 67th minute. Fabiano Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gao Wei Fei's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gao Wei Fei in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Pombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute Gao Wei Fei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Pombal made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Fariz Nair sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Fariz Nair had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabiano Pombal. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fariz Nair was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.
