In the 20th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Siekkötter, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Stenberg got free with Esen Sanal in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Siekkötter in the 27th minute of the match. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Per Stenberg 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 39 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho de Senna. Esen Sanal made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Per Tunström sent off a good shot on target. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Lucio Siekkötter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lucio Siekkötter made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Feng Yan in the 54th minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magne Gunnarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breno Vergílio in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breno Vergílio got free with Magne Gunnarsson in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Per Stenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Esen Sanal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rönnöfors FF made a substitution. Sigvard Biörnberg replaced Olimpiu Mirciulescu. With his leg Magne Gunnarsson managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Breno Vergílio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 79th minute, Lucio Siekkötter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 82nd minute Torsten Åman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esen Sanal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krisztián Véber kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Per Tunström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Rönnöfors FF from getting a goal against them. Rönnöfors FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Per Stenberg in the 98th minute. A nice corner shot did that Per Stenberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Esen Sanal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
