Despidida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Toro Martínez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Fresco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toni Barijho in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Toro Martínez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ezequiel Fresco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Zappa got free with Fernando Selatse in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toro Martínez in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Fresco saved All Boys 22 from getting behind. Ezequiel Fresco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toro Martínez in the 31st minute of the match. Toro Martínez struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ezequiel Fresco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. In the 33rd match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kees Harmsen to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Ibaute got free with Fernando Selatse in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Despidida AFC's attentive Szymon Pyrzyce managed to snatch the ball when Yao Zhen Guang made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig to make the kick off. Despite this Ezequiel Fresco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The All Boys 22 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Despidida AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Despidida AFC.
