Guilherme Heidemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Hílton Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute Paulo Renato Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Botinho FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivo Carvalho in the 21st minute. The corner led Botinho FC's Ivo Carvalho to fire away a dangerous shot which Franklin Bittencourt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovanni Queirós got free with Hílton Magalhães in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Guilherme Heidemann could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Hílton Magalhães however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Carlos Mazza got free with Hílton Magalhães in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 38 in the game by Alim Akkaya from a close distance when the talented Hílton Magalhães managed to make a qualified save. Botinho FC's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Alim Akkaya put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hílton Magalhães. In the 42nd minute of the match, Moise Zgrăbunţa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hílton Magalhães saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The wind increased when Marco Nóbrega made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Botinho FC booed when Vasco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Zgrăbunţa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hílton Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alim Akkaya's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Hílton Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Heidemann, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alim Akkaya in the 73rd minute of play forced Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hílton Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando Silveira in the 74th minute of the match. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alim Akkaya in the 76th minute of play. Vasco FC's Franklin Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Nóbrega in the 97th minute of play.
