Liam Hähner was slow to take the kick. During this time Spartan FC Mogilany's players had a chance to rest. Atilla Açıkalın kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Atilla Açıkalın scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwo Domarecki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Vladislav Trúpchev got a free kick in the 20th minute. Diogo Martinss short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Batıkan Muhsin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Atilla Açıkalın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iwo Domarecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Açıkalın, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Antoni Tomiczek in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Hasan Tahsin Polatalp. In the 29th minute Atilla Açıkalın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Domarecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwo Domarecki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Atilla Açıkalın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ilie Dumitrescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Batıkan Muhsin made a huge save. After the first half Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diogo Martins to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Spartan FC Mogilany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Dumitrescu to maneuver through the defense. Iwo Domarecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Açıkalın in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Atilla Açıkalın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Domarecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Spartan FC Mogilany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwo Domarecki should have stopped the shot. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstanty Smolarek in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
