Maximo Horquizar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. Xavies Casavela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Horquizar came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez. But to his dismay, Toro Martínez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Justino Elequemedo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Segundo Aureo made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Juan Sartori. Maureen Franco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Charly Good came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maureen Franco got free with Fernando Selatse in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Arturo Arano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximo Horquizar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charly Good to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Maureen Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximo Horquizar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Toro Martínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xavies Casavela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fernando Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Charly Good replaced Xavies Casavela. Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Kopacz in the 69th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match, Czeslaw Kopacz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximo Horquizar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 81st minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. Sporting Buceo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lucila ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Despidida AFC's Czeslaw Kopacz to fire away a dangerous shot which Maximo Horquizar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Velasco came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maureen Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 87 in the game by Emiliano Velasco from a close distance when the talented Maximo Horquizar managed to make a qualified save. Sporting Buceo's players were relieved. Szymon Pyrzyce kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xinto Carreiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xinto Carreiras in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Kopacz in the 96th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Maximo Horquizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despidida AFC were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Sporting Buceo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emanuel Lucila took the corner.
