After 10 minutes of play, FC Kurdistan's Yin Yun Fan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Fernendo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Sundström in the 12th minute of play forced River's goalkeeper Cosme Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. River's Cosme Fernendo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save River from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Lars Sundström notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of River's Cosme Fernendo. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cosme Fernendo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. FC Kurdistan's Roni Ronaldinho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredric Hybbert got free with Cosme Fernendo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

In the 72nd minute, Fredric Hybbert made a precise shot to the right of Cosme Fernendo. River's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Ubaldo Ritchie replaced Roni Ronaldinho. In the 77th minute Elliot Nordgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Elliot Nordgren came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the FC Kurdistan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliot Nordgren couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Ubaldo Ritchie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. 95 minutes into the match, River's goal looked a bit too open when Yin Yun Fan came free, but Cosme Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. River's Cosme Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Nordgren in the 96th minute of play. Cosme Fernendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Nordgren in the 96th minute of the match.
