BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xiao Jian Bo in the 18th minute of play. Iacob Vernescu struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Zhuo Xu Xi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BVB 09. BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Mo in the 23rd minute of play. The Los Galacticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zhuo Xu Xi should have stopped the shot. Los Galacticos's Zhuo Xu Xi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Los Galacticos from getting a goal against them.

Los Galacticos made a substitution. Ye Liang replaced Xiao Jian Bo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iacob Vernescu to make the kick off.
