The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cosme Fernendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nélson Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Cosme Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Oliviero in the 7th minute of play. Cosme Fernendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nélson Sousa in the 9th minute of play forced River's goalkeeper Cosme Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AMLUCHO's Selahaddin Esentürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaetan Slaghmeulders in the 13th minute of play. Cosme Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Oliviero in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Ambrosio Mitxaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, River's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Oliviero came free, but Cosme Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nélson Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, AMLUCHO's Nélson Sousa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Fernendo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Nélson Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Fernendo. River's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nélson Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Wilfried Van Cauwenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. River's Cosme Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Gaspar in the 38th minute of play. Cosme Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nélson Sousa in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of AMLUCHO booed when River was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Laurgain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Oliviero took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Fernendo. Cosme Fernendo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

The supporters of AMLUCHO booed when River was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaetan Slaghmeulders didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, AMLUCHO's goal looked a bit too open when Gaetan Slaghmeulders came free, but Selahaddin Esentürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AMLUCHO booed when River was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Mitxaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. River's Cosme Fernendo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save River from getting a goal against them. If Isidro Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, AMLUCHO's Oğuzcan Lami got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Isidro Oliviero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Cosme Fernendo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. AMLUCHO played a much better game than River and deserved their victory. The River players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
