Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Daustad's Luis Bonet started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Constantin Deșliu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Daustad's Are Rygg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 8 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but Marian Văduvescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu got control of the ball when Luis Bonet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marian Văduvescu was a little too slow when Luis Bonet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Bonet in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Văduvescu saved FC Steaua Pildesti from getting behind. Jo Øverås showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Barbu in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Lucian Stere had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jo Øverås. Daustad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucian Stere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Marian Văduvescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Bonet went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Daustad's Luis Bonet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Văduvescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Luis Bonet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marian Văduvescu. That made the score 3-1 in the 33 minute of play. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Stere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Barbu in the 40th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Luis Bonet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Văduvescu was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Nicolae Barbu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jo Øverås tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucian Stere was the one to do the kick off. Luis Bonet might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marian Văduvescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Bonet ran back to his position shaking his head. Marian Văduvescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 56th minute of play. Marian Văduvescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Bonet went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Luis Bonet took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Văduvescu. Marian Văduvescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Silvestre Pumarejo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Lucian Stere could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Jo Øverås made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nae Griguță during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jo Øverås made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Barbu in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but Marian Văduvescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Nicolae Barbu hit a great ball. FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Bonet in the 84th minute of play. The corner ended in Mats Bentsen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu did a great save. Daustad's Luis Bonet got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 minutes of play FC Steaua Pildesti's Nae Griguță was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Luis Bonet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Luis Bonet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Daustad fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Steaua Pildesti had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
