Palmeiras's Jacinto Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Covaci in the 20th minute of play. Jacinto Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Covaci in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Schira came free, but Jacinto Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Éthan Pichard hit a great ball. The SV Bad Harzburg fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacinto Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éthan Pichard in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palmeiras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Éthan Pichard was slow to take the kick. During this time SV Bad Harzburg's players had a chance to rest. Bernt Jønsson charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernt Jønsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Éthan Pichard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jacinto Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernt Jønsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Chaves made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Lars Schira sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Éthan Pichard in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacinto Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Covaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57th play minutes Éthan Pichard shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Jacinto Chaves and just under the crossbar into goal. 61 minutes into the game, SV Bad Harzburg's Horst Hussen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Chaves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Jacinto Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éthan Pichard in the 64th minute of the match. When SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard in 65 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jacinto Chaves guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Tim Wiese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Covaci to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Palmeiras's Jacinto Chaves got control of the ball when Lars Schira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Éthan Pichard got free with Jacinto Chaves in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Chaves came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard. But to his dismay, Éthan Pichard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Éthan Pichard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Jacinto Chaves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éthan Pichard in the 85th minute of play forced Palmeiras's goalkeeper Jacinto Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davi Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Bernt Jønsson struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Tim Wiese didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras. When SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Jacinto Chaves saved Palmeiras from getting behind. SV Bad Harzburg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
