Vlad Voican made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nicolae Panciu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Vlad Voican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Gamus in the 10th minute of play. Vlad Voican made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Ahlqvist in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Vlad Voican had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Ahlqvist. In the 17th minute Dan Stelaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Stelaru in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Austin saved Reconquistense FC from getting behind. Jesus Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Cozorici in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Bermudez came free, but Vlad Voican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Vlad Voican proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting a goal against them. Dan Stelaru scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jesus Austin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Nicolae Panciu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nicolae Panciu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicolae Panciu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 39 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Panciu. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Vlad Voican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Gamus in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Reconquistense FC's Clodoveo Chinto got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV defense, Tomás Raphael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vlad Voican. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vlad Voican should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 57 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Mincu. Reconquistense FC made a substitution. Prudencio Raulo replaced Arnulfo Gamus. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Vlad Voican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Ahlqvist in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Tomás Raphael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vlad Voican. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Raphael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Vlad Voican made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Bermudez in the 65th minute of play. Liviu Mincu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mădălin Sitaru kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Manuel Cozorici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Reconquistense FC's Fabian Bermudez got a free kick in the 76th minute. A hard shot by Rareș Vasilescu from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Jesus Austin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 82nd minute of the match, Liviu Mincu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jesus Austin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vlad Voican showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 93rd minute, Everardo Onofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reconquistense FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
