In the 2nd minute, Adam Teuwen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şimşek Yağızer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Lucian Florei notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hannover Reds's Hartmut Klein. Hartmut Klein was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, Camporioccio VS's goalkeeper Filippo Di Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jon Bak. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şimşek Yağızer in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hartmut Klein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filippo Di Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Klemt, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of Camporioccio VS booed when Hannover Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Kiefer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paavo Burgdorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Di Franco having to interfere. Camporioccio VS's Filippo Di Franco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Camporioccio VS from getting a goal against them. Filippo Di Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Bak in the 36th minute of the match. Hartmut Klein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Comunardo Potenza in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Immanuel Baumann in the 42nd minute of play forced Camporioccio VS's goalkeeper Filippo Di Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Hannover Reds's Immanuel Baumann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Comunardo Potenza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Immanuel Baumann made a kick off. Jon Bak took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filippo Di Franco. Filippo Di Franco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Camporioccio VS's Filippo Di Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paavo Burgdorf in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Paavo Burgdorf notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Camporioccio VS's Filippo Di Franco. Filippo Di Franco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Comunardo Potenza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hartmut Klein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Broman, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Camporioccio VS's Filippo Di Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Klemt in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jon Bak in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filippo Di Franco saved Camporioccio VS from getting behind. Filippo Di Franco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paavo Burgdorf went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Comunardo Potenza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Immanuel Baumann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Filippo Di Franco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute, Şimşek Yağızer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 90th minute of the match, Armando Perna got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hartmut Klein was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Armando Perna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Hartmut Klein made a huge save. When Eugenio Cerri fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camporioccio VS's protests and gave Eugenio Cerri a yellow card for diving instead. Eugenio Cerri kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Immanuel Baumann took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filippo Di Franco. Filippo Di Franco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Camporioccio VS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
