FC Bruges's Jasper Opdebeeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Ahlqvist in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Bruges defense, Jan Ahlqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck. The FC Bruges fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasper Opdebeeck should have stopped the shot. Jan Ahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasper Opdebeeck having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Jan Ahlqvist made a precise shot to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck. FC Bruges's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 23rd minute, Fabian Bermudez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reconquistense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 36thth minute of the game Jan Ahlqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bruges's Jasper Opdebeeck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Arnulfo Gamus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reconquistense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Gamus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jasper Opdebeeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 played minutes Reconquistense FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Ourente. The Reconquistense FC fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Reconquistense FC's Jan Ahlqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jasper Opdebeeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Ahlqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Ahlqvist came free, but Jasper Opdebeeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Koen Buyck was the one to do the kick off. FC Bruges's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Arnulfo Gamus scored to the left of an out of position Jasper Opdebeeck, making the score, 0-7. Jan Ahlqvist in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. But to his dismay, Atilano Ourente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Koen Buyck kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Jonathan Calvet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reconquistense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Calvet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Bruges's Matthis de Pelsmaker got a free kick in the 92nd minute. FC Bruges's Jasper Opdebeeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Madeo in the 93rd minute of play.
