After 5 played minutes Hannover Reds got a freekick which was hit by Albert Kiefer. Hannover Reds's Hartmut Klein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Stelaru in the 6th minute of play. Hartmut Klein came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Liviu Mincu. But to his dismay, Liviu Mincu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Vlad Voican had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paavo Burgdorf. 17 minutes into the game, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dan Stelaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hartmut Klein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Paavo Burgdorf's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Vlad Voican skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paavo Burgdorf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Vlad Voican made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Mincu in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hartmut Klein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paavo Burgdorfs short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Vlad Voican to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hartmut Klein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Stelaru in the 31st minute of play. Hartmut Klein didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dan Stelaru shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. When Paavo Burgdorf fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hannover Reds's protests and gave Paavo Burgdorf a yellow card for diving instead. Jon Bak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Vlad Voican when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 44th minute, Mădălin Sitaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Hannover Reds's Immanuel Baumann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mădălin Sitaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Dan Stelaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Stelaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st match minute, Hannover Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Immanuel Baumann to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liviu Mincu got free with Hartmut Klein in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
