An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Ahlqvist in the 3rd minute of play forced R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Gustave Lechat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustave Lechat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Ahlqvist's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save R.C. Marseille from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Vetter in the 20th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Jesus Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat got control of the ball when Arnulfo Gamus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustave Lechat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Gamus in the 24th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Ahlqvist made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Ahlqvist in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustave Lechat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Paulo Teinturier took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jesus Austin to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Reconquistense FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Atilano Ourente hit a great ball. Florent Travers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute Fabian Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustave Lechat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, R.C. Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Bermudez came free, but Gustave Lechat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Fabian Bermudez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 90th minute, one of Reconquistense FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Reconquistense FC. Tomás Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Reconquistense FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. R.C. Marseille were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
