The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Sergi got free with Hartmut Klein in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 3rd minute San Lorenzo de Sarandi were awarded a corner. Ivan Errando went to the cornerflag to take it. Hartmut Klein made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Juan Sergi sent off a good shot on target. Hartmut Klein was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Eduardo Jatsu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eduardo Jatsu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Sarandi getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Uriel Cuervo hit a great ball. When Paavo Burgdorf came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Hannover Reds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paavo Burgdorf couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Hannover Reds's zone, Juan Sergi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hartmut Klein came out of the goal and Juan Sergi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Hannover Reds's goalkeeper Hartmut Klein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Sergi. In the 45th minute Juan Sergi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hartmut Klein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Immanuel Baumann made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Immanuel Baumann came free, but Eusebio Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Hannover Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Errando came free, but Hartmut Klein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivan Errando in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Immanuel Baumann in the 61st minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Eusebio Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Adam Teuwen in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Emanuel Maria. Jannick Heinze made a great header on Hannover Reds's corner, it was just that San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Eusebio Fe managed to reach the ball for a save. Albert Kiefer hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Jatsu. Delmar Ostadar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Hannover Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Mónico Geller came free, but Hartmut Klein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mónico Geller in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hartmut Klein prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
