Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eduardo Jatsu started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the FC Bruges defense, Juan Sergi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck. The FC Bruges fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasper Opdebeeck should have stopped the shot. After 7 played minutes FC Bruges got a freekick which was hit by Henri-Patrick Van Dyck. Jasper Opdebeeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Sergi in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koen Buyck in the 13th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Eusebio Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jasper Opdebeeck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Sergi's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Thys Eli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Fe having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Juan Sergi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jasper Opdebeeck was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Jasper Opdebeeck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Sergi went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute Isaias Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jasper Opdebeeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jasper Opdebeeck came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Juan Sergi. But to his dismay, Juan Sergi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 40th minute, Juan Sergi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jasper Opdebeeck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The supporters of San Lorenzo de Sarandi booed when FC Bruges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henri-Patrick Van Dyck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jasper Opdebeeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Sergi, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sergi came free, but Jasper Opdebeeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shen Shi Mo to make the kick off. With a little luck, FC Bruges's Jasper Opdebeeck got control of the ball when Juan Sergi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Delmar Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Shen Shi Mo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jasper Opdebeeck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Ostadar went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Delmar Ostadar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The FC Bruges fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. San Lorenzo de Sarandi were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
