The referee ignored Leicester Lions's protests and gave Sebastien Clifford a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camron Rhodes got free with Santana Armada in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leicester Lions's Connor Branston got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apollinaire Gousse, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 94th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Patton to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Leicester Lions had played much better football throughout.
