The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maurice Chalaye scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matthis de Pelsmaker kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Théodore Cordeau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jasper Opdebeeck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some careless play in the FC Bruges defense, Théodore Cordeau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck. The FC Bruges fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasper Opdebeeck should have stopped the shot. Théodore Cordeau hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Royal PSG's Théodore Cordeau in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bruges's goalie prevented a goal. Maurice Chalaye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasper Opdebeeck having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Bruges defense, Théodore Cordeau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck. The FC Bruges fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasper Opdebeeck should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Royal PSG getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hamid Perrette hit a great ball. Maurice Chalaye scored 0-6 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute of the match, Koen Buyck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antoine Mano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thys Eli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Antoine Mano made a huge save. Alphonse Auer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shen Shi Mo to make the kick off. Antoine Mano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shen Shi Mo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Royal PSG were awarded a corner. Rodolphe Lenain went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Royal PSG's corner Rodolphe Lenain fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jasper Opdebeeck quite easily take care of the ball. Jasper Opdebeeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Chalaye, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Théodore Cordeau took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jasper Opdebeeck. Jasper Opdebeeck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Jasper Opdebeeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Théodore Cordeau in the 63rd minute. Maurice Chalaye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jasper Opdebeeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gwendal Puig kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jasper Opdebeeck. That made the score 0-8 in the 70 minute of play. Shen Shi Mo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Koen Buyck struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Antoine Mano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bruges. Théodore Cordeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jasper Opdebeeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Shen Shi Mo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Mano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Théodore Cordeau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Jasper Opdebeeck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maurice Chalaye might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jasper Opdebeeck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maurice Chalaye ran back to his position shaking his head. Théodore Cordeaus short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Jasper Opdebeeck to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC Bruges's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Théodore Cordeau scored to the left of an out of position Jasper Opdebeeck, making the score, 0-10. Maurice Chalaye was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the final whistle sounded Royal PSG left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Bruges.
