The crowd rose to their feet as San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ceferino Cuervo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ladislao Mazurkiewicz. That made the score 2-2 after 91 minutes of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Delmar Ostadar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Ladislao Mazurkiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
