An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Elfoss in the 8th minute of play forced U21 Chile's goalkeeper Rodrigo Huilipan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U21 Chile's Rodrigo Huilipan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asmus Molbo in the 10th minute of play. After 16 played minutes U21 Chile got a freekick which was hit by Mark Gonzalez. Rodrigo Huilipan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Corfitzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Huilipan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Elfoss in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Victor Hugo Painevilu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Klysnov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Corfitzen in the 25th minute of play forced U21 Chile's goalkeeper Rodrigo Huilipan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Einar Klysnov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Hugo Painevilu in the 29th minute of the match. U21 Chile's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Lukas Elfoss scored to the left of an out of position Rodrigo Huilipan, making the score, 1-0. Einar Klysnov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Hugo Painevilu in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Rune Perlstrøm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Chile the free kick. Cristopher Damian took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Einar Klysnov. Einar Klysnov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 44thth minute of the game Lukas Elfoss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Chile's Rodrigo Huilipan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 45 played minutes U21 Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Louis Halmsted. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantin Corfitzen to make the kick off. U21 Chile's Rodrigo Huilipan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asmus Molbo in the 52nd minute of play. Rodrigo Huilipan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Elfoss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hipolito Fritz fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Chile's protests and gave Hipolito Fritz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, U21 Chile's Hipolito Fritz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. U21 Denmark made a substitution. Sven Herling replaced Haakon Grenholt. U21 Denmark made a substitution. Teddy Hare replaced Constantin Corfitzen. U21 Chile's Adolf Eichmann was substituted for Cristopher Damian. U21 Denmark's Fillip Sivananda was substituted for Lukas Elfoss. In the 63rd minute, Hipolito Fritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelino Calzada might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Einar Klysnov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelino Calzada ran back to his position shaking his head. Adolf Eichmann struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Einar Klysnov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Chile. Adolf Eichmann did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Einar Klysnov 77 minutes into the match. If Adolf Eichmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Einar Klysnov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolf Eichmann in the 84th minute. Rodrigo Huilipan came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Denmark's Teddy Hare. But to his dismay, Teddy Hare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Adolf Eichmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Einar Klysnov. That made the score 2-3 in the 90 minute of play. Einar Klysnov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolf Eichmann in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the U21 Chile defense, Fillip Sivananda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Huilipan. The U21 Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Huilipan should have stopped the shot.
